A Sicilian Dream
Painting a Luisa Beccaria gown has been on my “wants list” for a while now, and when I created a painting for her daughter Lucrezia’s wedding, I couldn’t have been more thrilled—or more honored. Painting a wedding set in Sicily, at the Beccaria family’s breathtaking estate, felt like stepping into a fairytale. I’ve long admired Luisa’s ethereal designs, and capturing one of her iconic dresses on canvas was a dream come true.
Lucrezia and Giulio’s celebration at Feudo del Castelluccio had everything: the romance of an 18th-century estate, the golden hues of a Sicilian sunset, and the undeniable magic of two families coming together. Though I wasn’t there in person, creating this piece allowed me to immerse myself in every exquisite detail of their day—and let me tell you, this wedding was pure dolce vita.

The Magic of Painting a Luisa Beccaria Dress
From the start, I knew the painting had to capture not just the scene but also the feeling of the day. Lucrezia’s custom wedding gown, designed by her mother, was the centerpiece. Painting it was like translating poetry onto canvas—delicate lace, flowing silk, and a timeless elegance that felt uniquely hers.
As I worked, I kept thinking about the connection between art and heirlooms. Lucrezia’s gown was made with the same intention I bring to my paintings: to create something that feels deeply personal, timeless, and one-of-a-kind. When I unveiled the finished piece, hearing that both Luisa and Lucrezia loved it was the ultimate honor.

Capturing the Spirit of a Destination Wedding
Sicily has a rhythm and charm unlike anywhere else, and I wanted every brushstroke to reflect that. From the sun-soaked vineyards surrounding the estate to the intimate moments between Lucrezia and Giulio, this painting became a celebration of their story—and of Sicily itself.
Destination weddings like this one have a way of weaving together the natural beauty of a place with the unique energy of the couple. And whether I’m painting live at a wedding or working from afar on a commissioned piece, my goal is always the same: to capture your love story in a way that feels deeply personal and unforgettable.

A Sicily Wedding Painting Love Letter
This painting wasn’t just a piece of art; it was a love letter to Lucrezia and Giulio’s wedding day, to Sicily, and to the legacy of a family that cherishes beauty and tradition. Working on this commission reminded me why I do what I do—because weddings, no matter where they happen, are filled with moments that deserve to be preserved forever.
