Rent the Runway helps me have high quality beautiful clothing when I need it.
And when do I need it? For weddings.
I have a lovely wardrobe I’ve curated over the years, but it’s mainly geared towards my daily life with classic pieces such as button ups, t-shirts, sweaters (which will forever be my favorite), and jeans.
That *doesn’t* lend itself to the perfect wedding attire… unless you’d like me to show up decked out in bridesmaid dresses from weddings past (😂), which I wouldn’t ever want!
Rent the Runway allows me to look and feel good about what I’m wearing, and feel professional and put together. Also, these dresses are compliment magnets – seriously.

EASY ACCESS
Rent the Runway is delivered to your door, so there’s no need to leave the house. I choose my clothing right from my phone. For weddings, I use the color palette and moodboard to determine which dress will be perfect –
I want my live painting to feel *connected* to the wedding in a *blend in but stand out* kind of way.
It’s so simple – and a ninja tip I’ve learned is to *heart* what I like so that I can easily find it again without searching the entire wardrobe selection.
SUSTAINABLE
When I looked at the price of buying some dresses for weddings, some the price of a new camera, I decided that renting for now was a great option. I needed something sustainable for the environment and my wallet.
As I continued to weigh the cost of ordering dresses on a one-off basis, I actually found it was more economical (and much more fun) to use their styling service of 4 rentals twice a month.
It’s a great idea to be sustainable for your budget and your lifestyle because instead of buying one-off fast fashion pieces, you’re able to rent and try new things, new styles, but still send them back when you’re done.
It’s sustainability at its finest.
