This New Year’s Day winter wedding at The Root Coworking Space in Downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma is lush, magical, and inviting, with a relaxed thoughtful vibe that made all the guests feel instantly warm and welcome on a freezing cold night.
As the guests began arriving, snow quietly fell to the ground all around — easily visible through the large picture windows The Root boasts — which added an ambiance of magic to their day.
Heather and Taylor were loved and supported by seven bridesmaids each and many family and friends. Seeing their joy was the highlight of the evening.
Truly every moment was special — from beginning to end, the delight in the room was palpable.
This romantic wedding is sure to inspire with creative details that added chic classic beauty to the modern venue. The brides chose industry talent from across Oklahoma to make their wedding day magical.
The Root resides in downtown Tulsa. It was transformed from co-working space into a remarkable and very Tulsa-esque (IYKYK) wedding venue of Heather and Taylor’s dreams.
Intentionally designed florals by Ever Something lit up the room for a charming night full of joy. A photo booth in front of a mural wall created a vibrant and picturesque spot to make memories. The DJ kept the party going with song choices that pleased every guest!
The day was coordinated by Jenny Morris and captured beautifully by photographer Nina Chappel Photography, cinematographer Brit Little Films and live wedding painter Courtney Kibby. They captured the beginning of Heather and Taylor’s forever in three unique and beautiful ways — and each spectacular.
A SPECIAL SURPRISE
A gift for Taylor, Bride Heather booked live wedding painter Courtney Kibby as a surprise. And it was so worth it!
It was such an honor to create this piece for Heather and Taylor — and the sweetest celebration that I will always remember! Seeing the look on their faces when they saw their love story as fine art was one of my favorite moments.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to create these timeless heirlooms for my sweet couples. It brings me so much joy to paint these pieces live in front of you and your guests, and it was so much fun creating this for Heather and surprising Taylor.
